Matthew Hodgkinson is a corporate lawyer and management consultant with more than eight years’ experience in the corporate advisory and legal sectors.

He has worked with large scale clients in the engineering, insolvency, construction, insurance, engineering, project management, property, and health care industries.

Matthew’s expertise covers mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital raisings, strategy and corporate restructures.

He also has wide commercial law experience, having worked for a series of international firms including Norton Rose Fulbright, K & L Gates, Atanaskovic Hartnell and Minter Ellison.

Having worked in the Shanghai office of Norton Rose Fulbright, Matthew also has extensive cross-border and international experience.

As a senior mergers and acquisition and corporate advisory consultant, Matthew works across a number of buy-side and sell-side mandates for the firm’s International Development Assistance (IDA), engineering, legal and consulting clients. He also assists Eaton Capital Partners’ start-up clients with small scale capital raisings.

As General Counsel, Matthew also provides internal legal support to the board of directors and the company secretary.

Matthew has a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hon 1) from Macquarie University as well as a Financial Analysis Certificate from the University of Technology Sydney.
